{"id":1105,"date":"2018-12-13T14:11:09","date_gmt":"2018-12-13T14:11:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/icedusolutions.com\/noticias\/?p=1105"},"modified":"2021-05-30T17:21:15","modified_gmt":"2021-05-30T17:21:15","slug":"adjetivos-en-ingles-con-terminaciones-ing-o-ed","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/icedusolutions.com\/noticias\/adjetivos-en-ingles-con-terminaciones-ing-o-ed\/","title":{"rendered":"ADJETIVOS EN INGL\u00c9S CON TERMINACIONES -ING O -ED"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Las terminaciones &#8216;-ing&#8217; y &#8216;-ed&#8217;\u00a0 no s\u00f3lo se usan para formar los tiempos verbales del presente continuo o del pasado, tambi\u00e9n se usan muchos adjetivos de este tipo en Ingl\u00e9s.<\/p>\n<p>Por ejemplo, <strong>un adjetivo que termina en\u00a0&#8216;-ING&#8217;\u00a0se usa para describir la\u00a0caracter\u00edstica\u00a0de una persona, una cosa o una situaci\u00f3n<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>En cambio, <strong>un adjetivo que termina en\u00a0&#8216;-ED&#8217;\u00a0se usa para describir un\u00a0sentimiento\u00a0(c\u00f3mo se siente una persona) o una\u00a0emoci\u00f3n<\/strong> y estas terminaciones de los adjetivos no pueden usarse para describir un objeto o situaci\u00f3n.<\/p>\n<p>Compara la diferencia:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>George is interest<span style=\"color: #00aeef;\"><strong>ed<\/strong><\/span> in technology (Jorge est\u00e1 interesado en la tecnolog\u00eda)<\/li>\n<li>George is an interest<span style=\"color: #00aeef;\"><strong>ing<\/strong><\/span> person (Jorge es una persona interesante)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Pero ten cuidado a la hora de escribir o decir el adjetivo correcto porque hay una gran diferencia de significado si lo dices o pones con &#8216;-ing&#8217; o &#8216;-ed&#8217;:<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li>My boyfriend is\u00a0bor<span style=\"color: #00aeef;\"><strong>ed<\/strong><\/span> (mi novio est\u00e1 aburrido)<\/li>\n<li>My boyfriend is\u00a0bor<span style=\"color: #00aeef;\"><strong>ing<\/strong><\/span>\u00a0(Mi novio es una persona aburrida)<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>El adjetivo de la primera oraci\u00f3n \u201c<em>bored<\/em>\u201d, describe un una emoci\u00f3n que est\u00e1 sintiendo en el momento (<strong>est\u00e1 aburrido<\/strong>) y cuando el adjetivo termine en &#8211;<strong>ED<\/strong>, casi siempre debemos pensar en el verbo <strong>ESTAR<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p>En cambio, en la segunda frase, el adjetivo \u201c<em>boring<\/em>\u201d describe una caracter\u00edstica o rasgo de la personalidad (<strong>es una persona aburrida<\/strong>) y cuando el adjetivo termina en <strong>-ING<\/strong>\u00a0casi siempre deber\u00e1s pensar en el verbo <strong>SER<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p><em>* Y recuerda que no todos los adjetivos terminan con alguna de estas dos formas.
